I started with this EQ raid guide (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/eq:raid_progression_guide) but I noticed a fair number of absences and one or two tiering oddities, so I made some modifications to make it accurate (I think) to PEQ in this era. If you notice anything you'd suggest changed, let me know! I also have the following goals; annotate each tier as I do them, and finish EQ Allakhazam links, plus maybe putting them in spoiler blocks to make the post neater. But for the moment, here's a preliminary list for PEQ. My rough plan for my group is to hit every raid on the list 5-10 times in the progression (we'll see how that goes, especially if some mobs start to give no or only marginal upgrades), and for each tier, do 50 or 100AA (not100% sure). We'll see if I get stuck, or get bored and stop. I'm running 4 groups; one of every class, one extra druid, one extra wizard, 3 extra bards, 3 extra clerics. I've personally only played to Tier 7 or 8, so my apologies if I missed content in that era. I really was relying on the Allakhazam guide there. Plane of Hate and Fear would be in Tier 0, except they both saw revamps. These mobs tend to drop items with some stats, resists, and HP/mana, but unlike velious, Luclin, and planes, don't have as obvious tiering. Lady Vox Lord Nagafen Plane of Sky Phinigel Autropos Stage 1 (~Kunark) – Epic 1.0's. -- I've added Lodizal (wasn't listed at all) and changed tiering for Plane of Fear: Cazic Thule himself drops better loot than the rest of this tier, and is tougher, with 450k life and quadding for up to 600; the rest of these have 32-50k life and tend to double-triple hit instead of quad. Wuoshi I tiered down a tier for similar reasons. These mobs tend to drop items with some stats, resists, and HP/mana, but unlike velious, Luclin, and planes, don't have as obvious tiering. These mobs drop items in the 150-200hp/mana range, generally around 170/180. The Ikkinz Group Trials drop items in the lower end of this range as well and might be worth doing. Thanks for this list. Looks like a nice roadmap. I'm interested to hear about your progress. One comment: Lodizal is the easiest mob on the list and squarely a tier 0 mob. One-groupable easy. Veeshan's Peak difficulty... Does the placement count the mobs in Veeshan's Peak or besting Suled Dar's Shade to get the key to get into Veeshan's Peak?
Veeshan's Peak placement is based mostly on the fact that the mobs drop items in the 130-150hp range, same as elemental planes raid encounters. Lodizal; I left Tier 0 pretty similar to the original EQallakhazam list, and kept as old world level 50 raids. Tier 1 has most of the Kunark/Velious dragons, so Lodizal goes there, even though you're right, without an AE he is definitely on the easy side of the list.
Chailak and Feratha seem pretty high in tier list, they should be dropped down a few tiers, only menacing thing about them is the pull. No way they’re on tier of zmtz (solo) that’s harder than anguish without a reliable script helping you.
I've never done any of that content on live or on PEQ, so I'll do some adjusting/commenting when I get there in a few years. I believe the EQAllakzham list might have been tiered based on the items dropped, not on the difficulties of the encounter.
throw Ture around Qvic difficulty, he's just a goat with debuffs, if you're solo'ing (you own army and noone helping) Anguish easiest to hardest->Ture/AMV->Hanvar->KTH->Jelvan->OMM Also agree with Drog, ZMTZ is harder than all of Anguish if you're trying to do it solo (your own army)
