Are these the only ones that can be researched now after DoN? Everything else that can't be purchased is a drop?
It depends on which expansion the spells come from. (this is not a 100% all spells come from this method, type of list) Kunark, Velious, Luclin include drops (asaik) PoP - parchment drops -> turn in LoY - quest (at least one) LDoN - points Gates, Omens - runes turn in DoN purchase with crystals or obtain by progression (t2)
Looking at getting started on research for 1 of my casters, probably a chanter. So for spell recipes should we be looking at the pre 2007 ones ie the ones P99 uses ? If not, can someone point me in the direction of where I can find recipes that are makeable on PEQ ?
at the top of this page, click database editor, then click sign in click here to login as guest. From there you can click tradeskills, research and look up all recipes on PEQ.
yeah, unfortunately that lets you look up specific recipes as opposed to giving you a list of recipes which is what I need. That pretty much has EVERY research recipe, old and new system . I Think I might have found what I need using the "Wayback Machine" & looking up 2005 recipes on eqtraders. If they aren't on PEQ, they should be, DON expansion came out in 2005 on Live
You can also use the search function in game on the research book and it will give a list of recipes for your skill level. Thanks, The LOY Spell one is particularly useful to me as the list I found was only for enchanter spells. I can set up my loot ini to sell off anything not needed and keep the good stuff
