Looking for some help setting up. Been playing p99 for years. Gonna try to play on PEQ with a couple RL friends. I've have a copy paste of the RoF client from friends pc. I was able to login with my eqemu login, make a character, but upon trying to enter world it times out and goes back to server select screen. Tried with a couple different servers.. All the same issue. What am I missing?
In your rof2 client, what is your eqhosts.txt file set as? eqhost.txt [LoginServer] Host=login.eqemulator.org:5999 OR [LoginServer] Host=login.projecteq.net:5999 And did you launch from the first copy with a shortcut with eqgame.exe patchme ? If you dont use the patchme even once, it could potentionally mess up ALOT in the rof2 folder
I figured it out. Thank you, though! The RoF client someone gave me was glitchy. I downloaded and installed a new one. Worked fine.
