So with getting back setup on PEQ I've come across a few things when using the generic EQEMU login, that gives you access to all the servers. In the MQ2AutoLogin.ini UseMQ2Login=0 --- the default set to =1 also [Servers] peqtgc=[PEQ] The Grand Creation - Omens of War -- this default is wrong it needs to be peqtgc=[] [PEQ] The Grand Creation - Omens of War the 2 missing brackets make the autologin stop at server select
The 2nd you listed with the [] only if you're using the EQemulator login, if you're using the PEQ login the first is indeed correct. (which you should be using if you're playing here, its more reliable)
While I agree with your statement, the condition of changing the eqhost.ini file is not absolute. This is small tid bit of information that is worth having referenced.
