I've been working on an RPG-style adventure map (converted from some Dungeons & Dragons stuff I had from years back) for Minecraft Windows 10 on and off over the past year or so, and I just thought I'd toss out a post since I'm at a point where I'm starting to have people run through some of the dungeons and maps I've created.

So far my testers have largely been Xbox users with the recent cross platform update, but the upcoming aquatic patch has caused a couple of hiccups recently as things haven't rolled out fully for all platforms equally. Since the aquatic patch doesn't apply to my projects anyway, and since the PEQ community is all largely PC users, I thought I'd see if there was anyone out there who would be interested in taking me up on/helping me out with this.

    What it would entail:

    - You'd need a working knowledge of Minecraft - that is, what blocks do, how combat/hunger/saturation works, etc, so if you don't know it you'd need to learn how to play it. The map I've created runs in Adventure Mode, so you're actually unable to break any blocks (which is quite limiting, but also takes the headache of mining, combining, etc out), but you still need to be familiar with how things work on Survival Mode in order to function properly. (Not necessarily right away, and it should be noted that I'm not in a huge rush to just grab anyone to run through things either. I'd rather find someone(s) in the relatively small niche of adult Minecraft players who can appreciate the deeper complexity that goes into the game)

    - You should have an interest in problem solving, both in testing content (I've done up some pretty devious puzzles in some places!) and in troubleshooting/bug reporting afterward.

    - You'll need a good grasp of the English language: The adventure uses in-game reference books (Book and Quill item) along the way as guides, so there's definitely some reading involved. Signs are also plentiful in Minecraft and so being able to read and comprehend their meaning is essential in order for me to get an accurate test of difficulty on some puzzles and areas in dungeons.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions you may have as this project of mine continues to evolve. Here's a few imgur links to give an idea of some of the things I've been working on (without giving away any puzzle solutions or secrets). This is all done in Creative Mode (no mining), but without the aid of WorldEdit or any other 3rd party software. All 100% hand-built from the ground up starting from a blank world:
