Can someone please explain how auto-destroy works? I've added a few lines to my loot.ini but they don't seem to have an effect. Added these lines to loot.ini: Pocket Lint (ND)=Destroy Sand (ND)=Destroy Chunk of Coal (ND)=Destroy Draykey's Codex (L)=Destroy I found this line in my General.ini: [Background] Auto-Destroy List=
AUTO DESTROY - TYPE 1In This file: C:\Games\MQ70\Macros\e3 Macro Inis\Loot Settings.ini How it works : The destroy part will be processed 1. On corpse during loot 2. On inventory when you use auto-sell. *. Does not apply to left over cursor or foraged items.Opinion: This is an on demand system. I use it often my Loot Settings.ini file ... Search "=Destroy" (1327 hits in 1 file) EXAMPLE : Blade of Xalgoz 35p(L)=Destroy if you kill xalgoz ... will loot and destroy the item if you manually looted it for a noob .... /autosell will goto nearest vendor sell and then destroy the blade after selling.AUTO DESTROY - TYPE 2In this file: C:\Games\MQ70\Macros\e3 Macro Inis\General Settings.ini [Background] Auto-Destroy List= I believe this is the cursor item check. How it works : Foraging, fishing, pick-pocket : You end up with items on your cursor .... it would destroy junk item before the auto-inventory cursor. Opinion : Automatic item destruction IS BAD . ( You never know when you're gonna click something by hand as macro /destroys what you pickup ) Example: Not given
Very helpful - Thank you! I don't want these items entering my bag at all. I found adding this to my general.ini for the Halloween event helps keep my sanity in check. I would not keep this in use after the event due to concern of destroying something that shouldn't be destroyed. [Background] Auto-Destroy List=Pocket Lint, Sand, Chunk of Coal
